What are the tools that you use for screen recording? (Discussion)

Folks, screen recording is the one of the important aspects of teaching online and courseware development. Please share the tools that you use for screen recording.

I have been using Adobe Captivate for quite a long time but I recently came across website called Screentoaster that does online screen recording. I haven’t spend much time on this but my first feeling is that this seems to be a good option. The advantage is that it is an online tool and above all it is free.

    What is the speed like? Given that the tool is online, I’d guess that there will be a trade off b/w speed and video quality.
