Moodle seems to be a good one…though I haven’t explored it enough to understand what it’s limitations are?

What are your views on moodle? Btw, how would you rate the tools on LearnHub?

Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment (MOODLE) is a Course Management System (CMS), also known as a Learning Management System (LMS) or a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). It is a Free web application that educators can use to create effective online learning sites.

I personally feel that it lacks in supporting large number of media formats and also one needs to spend quite some time to restructure it as per the requirements. Despite this, it is very popular and widely used open source CMS. Many top colleges and schools across the world employ Moodle to create and conduct their courses. In fact IIT, Bombay use Moodle to conduct some of the courses for its students.

I have tried my hands on this fantastic CMS quite sometime back and I really liked their Test Platform, especially the option of creating adaptive mode tests.

I tried a few times to work with Moodle, but did not find it friendly to understand how to create courses. I have since used aTutor and really like it and found a good forum for support.
